WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE & PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

Planning a wedding involves a lot of decisions, and quite often it’s difficult to know what will actually matter on the day.

Having photographed more than 250 weddings, I’ve seen what works brilliantly, what can make things unnecessarily stressful and, importantly, the little things that can help couples spend more of their wedding actually enjoying it.

This collection of wedding planning advice and photography tips is based on that real experience. From planning your timings and family photographs to ceremonies, confetti, speeches, first dances and choosing suppliers, you’ll find practical advice to help your wedding day run naturally while still getting brilliant photographs.

You don’t need to follow everything here – every wedding is different. Take the bits that are useful, ignore the bits that aren’t, and plan a day that feels like yours.
