A classic wedding game that many guests will remember fondly is giant jenga or cornhole, which is a game that is played with bean bags.

These games are not only fun to play but they also look great set up on a lawn, and they can be easily packed up and put away after the wedding is done either by the venue or by you if you have purchased the games.

Hiring an acoustic band or musician is a great way to keep guests entertained throughout the day or night.

Acoustic musicians usually play a number of classics as well as current hits, and they keep the volume low enough that guests can still talk to each other during the music.

You can also ask the acoustic musician to play quietly during your meal or other events where you want guests to be able to talk among each other.

Having music playing quietly in the background is a great way to keep your guests entertained at your wedding without being too loud or disruptive.

If you are having an outdoor wedding, a great way to end the night is to send your guests off with a sparkler send-off. Once the party is over, have your guests form a line and walk away from the venue with their sparklers. This is a great way to end the night, and something guests will remember!

Final Thoughts For Keeping Your Guests Entertained

Hopefully, the ideas above give you some inspiration for things you could have on your wedding day to help fill in the gaps.

It's important to remember that you don't need to spend a fortune to keep your guests entertained.

One of the best activities I have seen in a long time was an evening game of Bingo, it lasted about 30 -40 minutes, everyone loved it, and the prize for a 'line' was £25 behind the bar and for a 'full house' was £50 behind the bar. Add in the costs of bingo cards, and it adds up to less than £100, a minimal amount given most wedding budgets.
