Detailed Booking Process
ENQUIRY STAGE
When you first get in touch, just let me know a few bits about your wedding — date, venue, and anything else you’ve already planned. I’ll check my availability and reply with some info about how I work and the next steps.
At this stage you can either book in a chat with me or go straight to booking. If you’d like a chat, you can grab a time from my online calendar. During our call we’ll walk through your plans, talk about how the day might run, and I’ll explain my documentary style of working.
Afterwards, I’ll follow up with an email recapping what we discussed, along with a booking form should you want to go ahead.
THE BOOKING
Booking is nice and straightforward. You fill out the booking form, I’ll then create your contract. Once you’ve signed digitally and paid the £300 booking fee (with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before the wedding), your date is fully secured. I’ll confirm everything once both the contract and fee are complete.
PRE-WEDDING
This is where we get into the fun prep.
10 weeks out: I’ll send you a link to my couples’ “Hints & Tips” site — a little hub full of advice to make your day run smoothly.
8 weeks out: You’ll get an email from me with a link to book our pre-wedding catch-up call, plus a pre-wedding questionnaire to fill out. This helps me understand your plans in detail.
6 weeks out: Your final balance is due. Once you’ve returned the questionnaire, I’ll send you a completed copy to guide our call.
Pre-wedding video call: We’ll chat through timings, any potential pinch points, and cover all your questions.
Week before the wedding: I’ll send a final confirmation email with the timings I have noted and a list of the family formals you’ve requested (if wanted).
THE WEDDING DAY
This bit is easy — you just focus on having the best day ever. I’ll be there capturing it all in my relaxed, documentary style without interrupting the flow of your day.
POST-WEDDING
Within 24 hours: I’ll email to confirm that everything has been safely backed up in multiple locations.
Editing updates: You’ll get a few milestone emails letting you know where I’m at in the editing process.
Within 4 weeks: You’ll receive your full online gallery.
1 week later: I’ll send a “housekeeping” email, explaining what happens next with your photos and albums over the coming year.
12 months: Around 2 weeks before your gallery is due to expire, you’ll receive an email with options to extend it for another year. If you don’t extend on this reminder, you’ll get a final reminder a few days before expiry.
Extension or closure: If you extend, I’ll confirm the new date. If you choose not to extend, I’ll confirm that the gallery and all my stored copies have been securely deleted.
“From the moment you hit the submit button on my contact form or write me that enquiry email to the moment I deliver your wedding images, I make the process easy, straightforward, and 100% non-salesy!”
