Eastwood Hall Wedding Photography + Bride and groom walking down the aisle after the wedding ceremony

Lauren and Adam were married in front of their family and friends on a late autumnal day at Eastwood Hall Nottingham.

Lauren and Adam wanted a unique wedding, they wanted to put their own stamp on the day, they wanted to have warm autumnal colours and they wanted to have a relaxed time on their wedding day – they nailed all of it!

The day started for me with a few images of the ceremony room and the reception room, before heading off through the labyrinth of corridors to get to the room where Lauren was getting ready.

When I arrived, Lauren was just in the process of getting into her wedding dress and having the final touch-ups to her make-up.

Adam arrived with his groomsmen and waited patiently in the ceremony room whilst the guests made their way into the room.

One of the biggest stand-outs from the wedding of Lauren and Adam was the colours, the colours of the decor, the place settings in the reception room, the bridesmaid’s dresses and just look at the colour of Adam’s suit – I’d love to rock up at a wedding in a suit like that!

The civil ceremony was a quick one, since the start of the pandemic the registrars have been really quick in getting the legal bits done, I think for Lauren and Adam it was about 15 minutes from Lauren walking down the aisle to them both walking back down the aisle as a married couple.

Once the wedding ceremony was done, the newlyweds headed outside where the Ushers had got everyone waiting with the confetti.

The nice thing about Eastwood Hall is they have a lovely area at the front of the building and a nice area around the side of the Hall where people can mingle, drink and enjoy the canopes.

Lauren and Adam only wanted a few group shots, which is perfect for me. I recommend that couples do no more than 6 formal group shots as these can be done in around 15-20 minutes meaning the couple can spend more time with their family and friends.

Once the canopes had been eaten and the formals done, it was off to the other side of the Hall to where the wedding reception was being held.

The speeches were up first followed by the wedding breakfast, the evening reception kicked off with Lauren and Adam dancing their first dance to their favourite Disney song.
