OAKTREE FARM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Jen and Adam wanted a nice relaxed wedding, a wedding where they could enjoy the company of their family and friends.
The guys had decided for their wedding, they wanted it to be different, they didn't want the 'venue thing' they wanted to enjoy the summer weather, and in Oaktree Farm, they found the perfect place.
The morning started for me with Jen and her girls getting ready at an Airbnb about 10 mins from Oaktree Farm. The morning was nice and relaxed, the girls had been there all night, and by the looks of the bottles - they had a little to drink.
Once the Bridesmaids were in their dresses, it was time for Jen to get into hers; this part of the morning ALWAYS takes longer than people think; it took so much time that I had to leave before Jen was properly in her dress.
By the time I got to Oaktree Farm, the wedding guests and Adam were waiting over in the wedding ceremony area, a lovely place that had been mowed into the long grass.
The wedding ceremony was beautifully done with lots of personal touches relating to Adam and Jen, and it wasn't long after the ceremony that the couple were walking through their wedding guests, getting covered in confetti!
The afternoon for me was capturing the guests enjoying the sunshine, enjoying the games and enjoying the canapes.
The wedding speeches I had been warned by Adam could be emotional, and they were - especially the speech Adam gave to his Grandad.
To end the wedding day was the all-important first dance and disco and some amazing dancing from Jen's Dad!
