A GUIDE TO THE SAYWELLHQ.CO.UK WEBSITE

Andy Saywell Nottingham based Documentary Wedding Photographer

Intro

This post is to help you navigate the SaywellHQ website; I want you to get as much as possible from my site before getting in touch to (hopefully) book me as your wedding photographer!

In this video, I talk you through the SaywellHQ website and make sure you can get the best from it before getting in contact to book me as your wedding photographer.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PORTFOLIO

My wedding portfolio gives you a great visual idea of the types of images I love to capture; you will see fun, laughter, tears and the odd bouncy castle.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STORIES

My wedding stories are extended blog posts showing how I structure my wedding galleries; you will see complete wedding stories from start to finish.

Most of the weddings in the Stories are between 100-160 images long, featuring a wide range of wedding venues and types of weddings, from standard church and registry office weddings to outdoor farm weddings.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY TESTIMONIALS

I’m proud of the content on my Wedding Photography Reviews page; the fact that people have taken the time to leave me a review on Google or Hitched means the world to me.

As one couple recently put it, "seeing so many couples saying the same things over and over again, about the emotions in the images, the fun in the images, and you being so nice and not a knob, we knew you were our wedding photographer".

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

My wedding photography blog is full of full-day weddings, half-day weddings, Church weddings, registry office weddings, humanist weddings, and outdoor weddings, all covering different venues and seasons of the year. I also have plenty of hints and tips blog posts and my showcase series.

USE THE TAGS

At the bottom of each blog posts are ‘tags’; these can be clicked to show you other blog posts with the same ‘tag’. If you are on one of my wedding showcase blogs and click on the ‘showcase’ tag you will be shown all the blogs which are in my showcase series.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FILMS

Under ‘Films’ you will find wedding photography slideshows, wedding photofilms (mixing photos, music and sounds from a wedding day into a single film), wedding photography stop motions films, hybrid photo and video films, wedding hints and tips and a few wedding showcase films.

I hear from couples that it's sometimes nice to watch a wedding photography slideshow as it plays at a pace which allows you to take in the images; too often, we scroll a website like we do Instagram (very fast!)

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQs

Here you will find answers to almost every question I have been asked about regarding wedding photography, how I work, delivery, and the dirty side of money.

If you have a question which isn’t answered on my FAQs page - drop me an email.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FEES

Possibly my most visited page, the dirty side of money.. on this page, you will find the prices for my wedding coverage, along with what’s included and links to my wedding albums and wedding photofilm prices.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY CONTACT

I hope by the time you have looked through my wedding photography portfolio, had a look at a few fuller wedding stories and watched a few slideshows, you will be ready to reach out and see if I’m free to be your wedding photographer.

Feel free to email, WhatsApp, text, Zoom or even give me a call - I’m always available unless I’m at a wedding, and I usually respond within a few hours.

WEDDING PLANNING HINTS AND TIPS

Planning a wedding can be a minefield; you read blog after blog of what to do and what not to do - but often, these blogs are written by people who are not doing weddings every week, so I thought it would be great to have some hints and tips which will help you in planning and organizing certain parts of your wedding day.

Clicking the link below will take you to my specific wedding hints and tips page, which covers topics such as - when to do the speeches, stress-free family formals, unplugged wedding ceremonies, ideas for keeping your guests entertained on your wedding day, and plenty more.

GEEK OUT WITH MY WEDDING CAMERA GEAR

I think I have a problem and that’s GAS, which in the wedding photography world stands for “Gear Acquisition Syndrome’, which basically means I like buying everything new that comes out to do with cameras, lens, lights and everything in between.

I love writing about the camera gear I use at weddings, and so many people out there in the ‘Internet’ love reading about peoples views on wedding camera gear.

I have a dedicated page which links all my camera, lenses and gear reviews, so if you wanted to ‘geek out’ on the camera gear I use at weddings - click the link below.
