SHOTTLE HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Rosie & Roan picked the fantastic Shottle Hall for their outdoor wedding ceremony, thankfully the rain stayed away until late in the evening, which meant everyone could enjoy the grounds and views around Shottle.
THE BRIDE AND BRIDESMAIDS
The day started for me, capturing Rosie and her girls getting ready at home. It’s always fun capturing people getting ready in their own homes as you get to see all the little things that make them a couple, you get to see the photos on the wall, the little trinkets that they have picked up throughout their times together - it does give you a great vibe for them as a couple.
With the weather warm (thankfully not roasting warm) in August, the Bridesmaids were doing their make-up in the garden alongside Rosie who was in a little garden room at the back of the house.
One of my favourite parts of a wedding day is when the people closest to the Bride get to see her for the first time in her wedding dress on the wedding day - I love the genuine reactions of everyone in the photo below!
WALKING DOWN THE AISLE AT SHOTTLE HALL
The final walk together is always a particularly special moment for a father and his daughter, and the extended walk for Rosie and her Dad was lovely; it provided them with an opportunity to take everything in.
Rosie had warned me that Roan would get emotional, and he did the moment when Rosie and her Father appeared in the doorway of the main house.
OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY AT SHOTTLE HALL
The ceremony was brief because Rosie & Roan wanted to finish the legalities quickly. They aimed to spend the rest of the day cherishing moments with family and friends, celebrating their love and new life together.
CONFETTI AT SHOTTLE HALL
Rosie & Roan wanted to do their wedding their way, they only wanted their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen for the confetti photo, they didn't want to have to get everyone moved from one place to the other to do confetti and then have to move back.
What’s great about only having the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen for the confetti photo was that there was plenty of confetti for everyone and that made for some great confetti photos.
WEDDING SPEECHES AT SHOTTLE HALL
After Rosie & Roan had spent the afternoon chatting and catching up with their wedding guests, it was time for the wedding breakfast and the all-important wedding speeches.
Rosie’s dad was up first, followed by Roan and then finally the best men, who had some very funny stories about Roan which everyone loved!
THE FIRST DANCE AT SHOTTLE HALL
The evening kicked off with Rosie & Roan doing their first dance before the live band kicked in for one of my favourite dancefloors of this year.
