Leanne and Jack’s wedding was the perfect blend of intimacy, joy, and relaxed celebration. They tied the knot at Market Harborough Registry Office, surrounded by their closest family and friends, before heading to The George Pub in Great Oxendon for an afternoon filled with laughter, great food, and live music.

I began the day at the registry office, capturing the anticipation and excitement as guests arrived and the couple prepared for their civil wedding ceremony. Their short and heartfelt ceremony was exactly as they had envisioned—simple, personal, and meaningful.

After the “I do’s,” we made our way to The George Pub, where a vibrant drinks reception set the tone for the rest of the day. Guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast, fun garden games, and the incredible energy of a live band as the evening drew in. Despite a few grey clouds and the odd bit of drizzle (it was August, after all), the sun broke through just in time for outdoor games—perfect for candid wedding photos full of natural smiles and laughter.

Leanne and Jack embraced my documentary wedding photography style completely, giving me the freedom to blend in with their guests and capture the genuine moments, emotions, and connections that told the real story of their wedding day.
