MANSFIELD REGISTRY OFFICE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Olivia and Mitch were married on a rainy summer day at the Mansfield Registry Office, followed by a beautiful wedding reception at the secluded Forever Green restaurant.
The day began with Olivia and her close family and friends getting ready at her home. There’s something so special about the intimate moments that happen during those final stages of getting ready, and I love capturing Olivia being helped into her dress by her mum—those little moments always carry so much emotion and meaning.
Just as we were about to head off to the Mansfield Registry Office, the heavens opened, and the rain didn't let up for the next 4-5 hours!
One of my favorite images from the day captures Olivia arriving at the registry office, with her dad holding the umbrella to shield her, her dress being carefully lifted to keep it dry, and everyone rushing to get inside and avoid the heavy downpour. It’s one of those moments that perfectly encapsulates the whirlwind of emotions and little moments that come with a wedding day!
Olivia and Mitch didn’t want much fuss during the wedding ceremony; they wanted to do the legals and get to the aftershow party as quickly as possible!
Once the ceremony was done, everyone headed outside, and to everyone’s amazement, the rain had stopped—if only for 5 minutes! But that brief window of dry weather was just enough for the confetti run and a few quick hugs and kisses before everyone made their way to Forever Green Restaurant for the outdoor BBQ and the party that followed.
Forever Green Restaurant is a beautiful, intimate venue nestled within 70 acres of woodland on the outskirts of Mansfield, not far from the registry office.
When Olivia and Mitch arrived, they were greeted by more family and friends, and after a round of warm hugs and hellos, it was time to enjoy some delicious food and move on to the all-important wedding speeches. These speeches took place outside, with the stunning woodland forest as a perfect backdrop to the heartfelt moments shared.
It was lovely for Olivia and Mitch to have their wedding speeches outside, as it had always been part of their plan. Given the unpredictable weather, it was touch and go for a while, but they got their wish, and the speeches took place in the open air, with the woodland as the perfect backdrop.
The evening celebrations kicked off with the cake cut, followed by the first dance, and then into the fun, daft dancing that had everyone laughing and enjoying the night. It was a perfect way to let loose and celebrate!
I hope you enjoy looking at the wedding gallery below; it was a really enjoyable day to capture despite having wet feet for most of the day!
SOME KIND WORDS OLIVIA & MITCH
Absolutely excellent, I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Throughout the whole process Andy was so helpful and professional and the photos are exceptional.
On the day you wouldn’t even know he was there but somehow he managed to capture absolutely everything.
We wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
