BOURTON HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Margarita and Eduardo were married at Bourton Hall in Warwickshire, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled from Spain for a special day.
The day started for me with Margarita getting her make-up done, with her lifelong friend doing the hair and make-up.
With Margarita getting ready at the venue, it meant that I could drift around the venue to capture the wedding venue set-up images and was perfectly paced to capture the guest arrivals who all arrived in the tradition red London bus.
After the guests had arrived, I headed back upstairs to capture the final bits of Margarita getting ready, which included the tradition of each close family member helping the Bride with the dress, earrings, wedding rings and other jewellery.
The wedding ceremony was held in the Italian Room, a lovely sunny room overlooking the main garden.
A favourite image of mine from the day is that if Margarita and her Dad walking down the stairs into the ceremony room, I love the framing of this shot.
A unique experience for me at Margarita and Eduardo’s wedding was an interpreter repeating the registrars as most of the guests only spoke Spanish, it was good fun watching the faces of the people listing to the interpretations.
Once the ceremony was done and the legals completed, everyone made their way outside to grab some confetti and to get ready to cover the Bride and Groom.
The rest of the afternoon was spent in the gardens of Bourton Hall, people chatting, mingling and enjoying the late summer sun.
Margarita and Eduardo only wanted coverage for 4 hours, and I’ll be honest, I felt sad to be leaving during the wedding breakfast as I just knew the evening would be lively!
